The biggest feature of this juice is its rich contents of carrot fibres.

Uniqueness of this juice

Carrots under snow
Carrots under snow

The carrots used are "Hitomi" which are rich in carotene and a cross between western carrots and "Kintoki" carrots from Kyoto. Normally carrots are harvested in the autumn but our carrots are left undisturbed under the snow in the winter months and harvested in springtime. The Uonuma's famous local products maturing under the snow create more amino acid and the original flavour of the carrots becomes milder.

The carrots used in the juice are grown according to organic cultivation methods suitable for high temperature and high humidity. The farm has been advised by Mr. Yoshio Tsurumaki, one of the leading authorities in organic farming in the last 30 years in Japan. This method does not involve any agricultural chemicals.

The General Manager responsible for growing carrots is Mr. Yoshio Tsurumaki who is Secretary of the JAPAN ORGANIC AGRICULTURE ASSOCIATION and The General Manager of Niigata Organic Agriculture Network.
